We know the best candidates…

We have a state of the art database, with over 20,000 candidates. We keep in touch with candidates on a regular basis, so we know who is looking and always make sure what their motivation for moving is and for those who aren’t actively looking, we know what type of position could tempt them.

We don’t just deal with candidates that are actively in the market…

We have developed a network of contacts and candidates and find that by taking a proactive approach to recruiting, we can approach the candidates who may be suitable for a position and are in a similar position, rather than sitting back and waiting for them to apply to us. We will approach suitable candidates working for competitors, highlight the features and benefits of working for your organisation in a discrete and professional manner and discuss why their career would be furthered by working within your company.

There is an old adage that only unhappy or unemployed people apply to job adverts. Whilst this may not be completely true, we do know that sometimes the best candidates are not always looking for new opportunities, as they are often too busy making their company money and generally being successful at their job.

Not having taken much notice about the current market, often candidates will believe themselves to be in the best possible position, however, when the market is brought to them the results can be very different.

We are constantly networking to find new candidates…

We constantly network in order to expand our substantial database of candidates. This is done by traditional means such as advertising but also by networking existing contacts and use of social media, enabling us to create a huge network of candidates. If we do not have the candidate already on our database, we will speak to contacts who will recommend somebody who may be suitable.

We check our candidates out…

Where possible we aim to meet all candidates on a face to face basis. If this is not logistically possible, we will have an in depth telephone interview with them, establishing their strengths, skills, qualifications, current financial package and establish their motivation for moving.

We will never submit a candidate if we feel they aren’t right for the role…

As part of the checking process, occasionally we will discover adverse information about a candidate. As any candidate submitted is represents Grosvenor Maxwell, we would rather not submit or withdraw a candidate a candidate who, in our opinion is not suitable. Our company ethos  is  that  our  priority is  long  term  client  satisfaction and  building lasting business relationships over short term gain.
